They have a drop off line so that parents can just drop off their kids without having to get out of the car! So convenient. Of course you could walk your kids in if you'd like, but I opted not to do that because it would have been hard to pull Ian off of me at the door (been there....done that). Ms. Blanca (Ian's teacher) did say that there were a few tears at the beginning but he perked right up during circle time. Evan's teacher reported that he was also a good boy. Yippee, I'm raising him right after all!
So what did I do to take advantage of my alone time? First I cleaned house! Just enough to make it presentable in case a guest dropped by. Then I washed and folded a load of laundry, I paid bills online, I blogged, I read a book, and I took a nap. I know......a nap, I couldn't resist!
Backpacks and lunch bags are personalized so nobody gets confused!
Did you use the same backpacks from last year or get new ones? I'm gonna be really proud if they are the ones from last year!
