I have tons of Monday Manna's that I've been working on that are saved as drafts because I haven't completed my thoughts on the subjects. So I'll post a quick verse for you to chew on..
We all have moments when we lose sight of our priorities. Sure we take care of our responsibilities and check things off of our list of things to do but somehow, somewhere our priorities get shifted to things that aren't so important in the grand scheme of things and we start focusing on minute details instead of the big picture.
Our focus, of course, should always be on God. It is from Him that all blessings flow. Our family will be taken care of. Our finances will be set in order. Our marriages will flourish. We will have peace and joy that can't be affected by our circumstances. Try making God your first priority and see how your life changes.
Colossians 3:23-24
NIV: 23Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, 24since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Amplified: 23Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as [something done] for the Lord and not for men,
24Knowing [with all certainty] that it is from the Lord [and not from men] that you will receive the inheritance which is your [real] reward. [The One Whom] you are actually serving [is] the Lord Christ (the Messiah).
