Oh.... To be a kid again and enjoy ice cream cones in the trunk of your parents SUV (because mommy didn't want you to waste sticky ice cream In her car)
I would like to take the time to add a totally unbiased plug about the Terrance and Shanita branch of the Lofton family. Evan and Ian are perhaps two of the most intelligent little boys that I have ever been around. On top of that they are well rounded. They fight, and play, and cook, and run, and sing, and tambourine (Ian), and all the stuff little boys do. I am awfully proud of Terrance and Shanita, they do a tremendous job. My hat is off to the both of you.
Teacher/Coach/Youth Minister.....you name it, he does it. But most of all, Terrance is a God-fearing man, a wonderful father, and husband and he is blessed with the patience of Job which is how he survives being the leader of our circus.
The Mom: Nita
I am first and foremost a follower of Christ, the mother of two handsome sons, and the wife of a man who wears many hats. I love my family, cheeseburgers, being a nurse, and most all caffeinated beverages (not necessarily in that order). This blog is all about my quest to be a better Christian, a better mom and a better wife. Sit back and enjoy...it's gonna be a bumpy ride!
Big Bro: Evan
Our oldest son, Evan, is a charming 10 yr old who is what we like to call a 'gentle spirit' He is definitely a lover.....not a fighter and he's the least strong-willed of our two boys. He is a bit of a people pleaser (like his mommy). He's also a charmer and he is always there to provide comic relief when you need a good laugh!
Lil' Bro: Ian
Our youngest son, Ian, is 7 yrs old and the total opposite from his older brother. He's a serious fella (kind of like his dad) and he makes you work hard for his affection. But once he figures out that you can be trusted.... you've got a friend for life! He is the most strong willed of the two. I call him my middle linebacker!
