My Nook by Barnes & Noble
I have boxes and boxes of books in my attic that I have no place to display. My Nook solves this problem. I can store 1500 books on this bad boy and it's the width of a pencil. Books are slightly cheaper than buying in the store and I can download a new book in seconds rather than having to drive to the bookstore or library only to find that the book you want isn't in stock. It's a lot easier to carry than a book (imagine carrying around an 800 page Harry Potter book in your purse). I've had it for a couple of weeks and I've read 6 books so far and I can't think of any complaints. So if you're an avid book reader then this e reader gets my vote.
Awesome! I want to know how you have time to read 6 books in a couple of weeks!...and what books are they? I'd love to get a new good book!
ReplyDeleteI read four books by Kristan Higgins and two books by Jodi Picoult and The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks. I have a bit of OCD so once I start on an author I tend to read all of their books (or atleast most of them) It's an illness! I stay up pretty late most nights reading which is how I finished so many books in such a short amount of time.
ReplyDeleteI don't know Miss. Shanita... I read a lot and I'm all for saving trees, but there's just something about turning pages and the smell of book glue... Anybody know what I'm talking about??
ReplyDeleteI just raised suspicions about me and glue huffin', didn't I?
ReplyDeleteOoo, I love Jodi Picoult! What books did you read?
ReplyDeleteLOL at the glue huffin'!!! I like the smell too.
Katie, I know you're not a huffer, and it's so much nicer not having to deal with losing your place or trying to keep the book folded over. You still turn pages...just with the push of a button rather :-)
ReplyDeleteAmy, I've read My Sisters Keeper, Keeping Faith and I'm currently on The Pact... all by Jodi Picoult. She's awesome!
