My husband has many talents but one I appreciate in particular is his ability to soothe the boys during their many meltdowns, especially while we are driving. I don't know what it is. Do they feel his sense of calm? Do they feel more protected? Who knows. I guess it also helps to have long arms! I just know that in both pictures I am in the backseat trying all that I can to calm them down to no avail and he reaches his hand back there and instantly they relax! Uuugghh! It really makes me look bad!
